This covers mental as well as physical health. Prolonged stress can lead to physical ailments, of which high blood pressure leading to heart disease, is becoming more prevalent.
Complementary therapies can play a valuable role in reducing stress and anxiety at work. This in turn will reduce working days lost through sickness, and of course boost staff morale. Reflexology, having a deepy relaxing and invogirating effect, is ideally suited to the office environment. Short treatments can be taken at any time, and only footwear needs to be removed.
Regular treatments can nelp alleviate common ailments such as back pain, headaches, poor sleeping, and many others. Such treatments can be paid for by the staff themselves, or subsidised in whole or part by the employer.
